Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. By entering this competition, entrants are taken to have accepted these Conditions of Entry.
Entry is open to Victorian and New Wales residents only over the age of 18. Employees and their immediate families of the named companies contributing to the Home Show Club – VZUG Kitchen Appliance Package and the HIA Home Shows and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The Promotion Period commences Thursday 23 March, 2011 at 10:00 (AEST) and ends on Wednesday 25 May 2011 18:00 (AEST).
To enter, you must: Join the Home Show Club by completing the online entry form located within the V-Zug Cooking School at the 2011 HIA Home Shows or by completing the back of a 2011 HIA Home Shows complimentary ticket. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entrants must join the Home Show Club by completing the back of a complimentary ticket to the HIA Home Shows or by completing the online electronic entry form located at the V_ZUG Cooking School Stage (HIA Home Shows 2011).
The prize draw will take place on Thursday 26 May at 2pm at the offices of Exhibitions & Events Australia, Level 1, 1 – 9 Derrick Street, KEW, VIC, 3101.
The winner will be notified in writing and published in The Australian on Friday 27th May 2011.
Total prize value is up to AUD $26130.00 incl. GST. Prizes are not transferable, can not be exchanged and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
Prizes must be claimed prior to Wednesday 8 June 2011
In the event that the prize is not claimed, the unclaimed prize draw will take place on Thursday 9 June at 2pm at the offices of Exhibitions & Events Australia, Level 1, 1 – 9 Derrick Street, KEW, VIC, 3101.
The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing and published in The Australian on Friday 10 June 2011.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provide proof of age, identity and residency prior to awarding a prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
The winner will be notified via phone call and letter in the mail.
Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be taken for lost or late entries.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
